Technology
sum.cumo Sapiens always relies on the latest technologies to meet your current and future needs.
No-code editor
Use our no-code editor for your products and application forms. Launch new products and distribution channels without any programming.
100 % automated Q&B processes
All Q&B processes, including risk assessment, are 100 % automated. Pricing, quote, application, policy document and debit position are processed in the background. The contract will be available immediately for further processing.
Scalable platforms and processes
SCIP was developed as a horizontally and vertically scalable platform. Asynchronous tasks can be placed into a sequential job queue from which they can be processed allowing you to control the number of processing agents required.
Embedded Insurance
Integrate individual application forms across all distribution channels. Application forms can be used in standalone or embedded formats. In addition, all application forms are available for white labeling.
100 % automated contract changes
Contract changes of unlimited complexity are 100 % automated. They can be planned ahead or retroactively. The conversion takes place at specific intervals, after which supplements are automatically generated, follow-up postings created and collection/disbursements triggered.
Programmed in Ruby and TypeScript
Our modern programming language sets and frameworks are designed to not only please developers, software development itself also benefits from cutting edge Gems and NPM modules. This is where both efficiency and developer-satisfaction are created.
Nobody likes wasting time.

Request demoOpen APIs
Thanks to our flexible API layer, the connection of existing systems or partner ecosystem is possible with little effort. SCIP integrations for various partners in the insurance market are already available.
GraphQL API
The GraphQL API creates a layer around SCIP. The API helps to read and write data in and out of the system to trigger functions. The API is limited to the logged-in user, so that customers can only see their own data. Administrators can be granted extended access.
3 API functions:
API for SCIP Backoffice
API for integration with (micro-)services of the insurer
API for partner integration
By using GraphQL technology the most appropriate API is always selected.
Connection of internal systems via batch or real-time integration (AMQP)
When internal systems cannot be connected to the GraphQL API due to their integration profile, or lack of adaptability, they can alternatively be connected via CSV batch or event-driven via AMQP in real time.
